CLSA Annual General Meeting 2008

The CLSA held the Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at the beautiful Lionhead Golf & Country Club in Brampton. Many thanks to our sponsor, Lab Product News for once again sponsoring the event.

Our guest speaker was Ryan Walter, former NHL Captain of the Washington Capitals and Stanley Cup Winner with the Montreal Canadians!

We were very pleased to have an solid turnout of over 40 attendees, representing 18 CLSA Member Companies. Ryan was a fantastic keynote speaker. He shared his insights on teamwork and personal commitment, and hi-lighted them against the backdrop of his personal experiences in his career with the NHL. He drew parallels of his experiences with the NHL and how they easily translate in many ways to the business world we work in.

The highlight of the evening was passing around Ryan's Stanley Cup Ring! What a thrill to hold it and see it up close and personal! Ryan graciously gave us complimentary copies of his book "Off the Bench and Into the Game" and signed them for us! We thank him for such a fantastic evening!
