
Field Sales Representative (Eastern Canada)
The over-all responsibility and scope of this position is to sell and support our customers for all existing Buchi products and to offer our value added solutions in order to develop new business in an assigned territory.
Specific Responsibilities and Expectations
Leads efforts to uncover and develop innovative solutions to address customer needs; determine and influence decision criteria, protocol establishment and technical conversation
- Prioritize selected market segments and develop solutions based on application needs.
- Plan in advance on site customer seminars
- Installation and product training
- Experience in CRM tools such as ACT , Sales Logix etc.
- Grow and achieve the annual sales targets
- Maintain inventory control, Travel budgets
- A degree in Analytical chemistry is a must
- Fluent in French and English both oral and written
Travel
- Required to travel in the assigned region of Quebec; all of the Maritime Provinces and North East Ontario on short notice
- Travel could at times be 50% of the time or more.
- Adhere to the Buchi Corporation travel and expense policy and keep travel costs to a minimum.
Skills
- A degree in Analytical chemistry or Natural Sciences is a must
- 5 years plus in Laboratory instruments sales both direct and through distribution
- Strong organizational/time management and interpersonal skills
